I am an architect and designer passionate about sustainable urban development with a human perspective. Except buildings and design i also enjoy history, urbanism, nature, travel, gardening, cycling, languages, cultures and the greatest joy of them all, coffee.

Growing up in an environment with diverse cultures and subcultures gave me the opportunity learn multiple languages but also to develop a deeper understanding for people, their intentions and needs. Today I see that as an asset in most situations. I can quickly understand a situation, or a project and the users or client’s needs and wishes. 

​

Working with different and diverse groups to create a solution or a design is something I enjoy.  I like the challenge of structuring and creating the process differently so it becomes more accessible and inclusive for different and diverse groups and users.

​

I enjoy searching for layers, historical or cultural, in architecture and cities. Everything holds information which can be used to imagine and create better places in the future. This is also why I choose to go into architecture, it fascinated me with its very wide range of possibilities, whether it be urban development, graphic design, building, art, architectural design, conservation, history, or anything else you put your mind to. Today I see my strengths mostly in the development and the work with users and clients. The best way to create better spaces and cities for people is to do it with them.
